Last days to visit "Normal Exceptions: Contemporary Art in Mexico" at Museo Jumex, a thematic survey of contemporary art in Mexico over the past 20 years.
Drawing primarily from the Colección Jumex with additional works by invited artists and collaborators, the exhibition will include more than 60 works by artists based in Mexico, including those of international origin, and Mexican artists living and working abroad.
Pedro Reyes participates with "Disarm Clock II" (2015-2021), made from pieces of rifles that strike each time a person is shot by a firearm.
Jorge Satorre also participated with "Los Negros" [The Blacks], a body of work oscillating between fieldwork, hermeneutics, and experimental editorial illustration.
"Normal Exceptions: Contemporary Art in Mexico", at Museo Jumex until August 15th
